Shows

Around the country there are virtually endless car shows, swap meets, auto flea markets, car corrals, auctions, manufacturer midways, cruise-ins, and more, to satisfy the car culture needs. How many you get to, is another story… From small town events to huge national meets, there is something for everyone.

Some of our favorite meets are below. Look here for a calendar of upcoming meets & dates for 2021.

The spring season kicks off early, with Spring Carlisle. There is just about everything going on at this show. Typically we get there to set up in the swap meet on Tuesday and leave on Saturday.

A New York show, this happens in July at the NY State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. The only thing hotter than a central NY summer weekend is the 8,000+ cars and several hundred vendors that make this show huge.

One of the closer shows for us is in beautiful Vermont. This show location changed several years ago but is just outside of Waterbury. Always good deals in the swap meet and a good car show/parade. This is an August show.

Another “close” show for us is in Essex Jct. Vermont at the Champlain Valley Exposition Fairgrounds. Not a huge swap meet but overall a nice show with great cars. This is a NSRA organized event and occurs in September.

The Northeast season winds down, with Fall Carlisle. Very similar to the great spring show here. This is at the very end of September and into the first part of October and precedes Hershey by just a week. Some go from here right to Hershey- only about 30 minutes apart.

Say one word to a car enthusiast that gets the biggest response… HERSHEY! Despite it being at the Hershey PA chocolate grounds, this show is all about the fall AACA meet. This is immediately after fall Carlisle and is the main course. There is so much going on here, you can spend a week and not even come close to seeing it all. This is by far our favorite show, for many reasons.
